I was inspecting the 01 S.E. today and noticed that my rear fuel line connector is leaking where it connects to the fuel rail. I was looking at how to replace it.
I found a Dorman kit part # 800-059 and was wondering how to fix it if I buy the kit. I have a Professional fuel line repair kit by Dorman but it does not have that part number in the kit. Also, I do not know how to use the crimps that come with it. Thanks in advance.

Any "good" Auto Parts store will have the special GM tool, and, can show you how to use it. But if you have never done this kind of work before, try to round up an experienced gearhead friend to assist. Fuel lines and connections MUST be done perfectly, or fuel can leak on a hot engine. Be CAREful, and good luck...

So, the easy way to fix, it to buy a short roll of the required size fuel line (8mm, or 10mm, measure to know), and you can find 'push-to-connect' fittings from dorman for each size. It's really easy, cut out the broken section and fit a new piece in, and push into the fittings. 800-192 is the 8mm, $10 a pair.

8mm
10mm

Edit: misread your post, but you can use these to connect the replacement fuel rail connector section to the original lines... And you can fit a 3/8 line to a 10mm line, use the 3/8 fitting, but it's a very tight fit.
