Changed oil and now P0201 and P301- FIXED!!

Drove car into garage and ran fine. Changed oil and now running horrible with codes P0201 and P301. The only other thing I did, I notice plug #1 was hitting the filler pipe so I put some tape around it. After the codes I moved the plug wire#1 away from the filler tube. Could anything I did during the oil change have caused this? I did not remove the insulator cover so I didn't disurb any injector wires. Could a bad plug wire cause the P0201?

I don't see how moving a spark plug wire could cause p0201. I'd check the pink injector wire for 12 volts with the key on or check fuel injector pulse with a node light or #194 light bulb. I'd also compre the resistance of #1 injector with another.
You could also swap #1 with another injector & see if the code changes.

I am going with a bad injector. I'll get a new one later today and check back.

New injector in and same problem. Must be a wiring problem or a failing pcm. I did a check of the wiring and found nothing obvious.

Fuse box was loose. I took box off and put back on. Put 2 new fuses in for good measure, tightened down fuse box and cleaned the positive connections at the fuse box. Running good again!

You mean to tell me that your fuse box was loose? I just had the same symptoms- p0201 p0301 and car ran like *shoot* after removing a relay from it...

I did not even know having a loose fuse box was possible! After reading this post, I tightened up the three bolts in the fuse box after making certain all four clips on the sides were engages, and VOILA! Car ceased to have misfiring, and is again running like a top. Thank You for documenting this in the forum!!
