2000 ssei, pulled 7 dtc codes off the aeroforce ( which I cant find at the momnet )

4 EGR codes
2 evap
1 random misfire

My boost ( on the aeroforce ) holds 9-10" vac on startup and about 12 when warm... Regulator test came out good holding 48 psi or so for a good 30 seconds with car off, ign on the "on" position.. Car starts fast when cold, but stumbles and usually requires a second start , that usually takes 5 seconds or so of cranking over , when warm.. plugs are toast, so I know thats a minor issue, but I would just like to know if anyone has had this issue before as well, before I drop $150 on a new EGR.. I went to menards and Home depot looking for another rubber 3.5" plumbing/PVC reducer to fit the throttle body to make my own Boost leak tester, bbut they only have 4" and 3"

Im close to finding the issue, but really at this point cant afford to be buying parts that might not get the fix done.. But to me the only thing I think it can be at this point is a vac leak or a egr.. just trying to play it safe and yet save on the wallet

Random thought: What if the EGR is your vacuum leak?

EDIT: What exact codes are you getting?

Exact codes will help us help you.

Your fuel pressure should hold for way longer than 30sec. Does the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator smell like gas when you remove it?

Im Looking for the list of codes I took off the aeroforce, but it might be in the Bonne... Which my GF is driving, and she is at work.. and I didnt think the EGR itself could leak boost/vacuum...... The corrugated lines to the intake and manifold yes , but the EGR .. No???

No it does not, nor is there any leaking, drops etc... We only tested the pressure at the line for about 45 seconds, and in that 45 seconds it went from 48-44ish.. SO To me thats good enough to rule out a bad regulator.. I REALLY need to find a coupler to throw on and do a boost leak test, and to find exact vacuum I was told to use a vac gauge, NOT the aeroforce

Looks like the EGR is bad. Could try cleaning it first if you want.

How many mile on the car? Have you ever replaced the EGR?

I personally have never changed the egr, but I bought the car with 150K i belive... almost 200K on it now

Also replaced both hub assemblies and still get the "service stability system "on my hud.. Little frustrated on that since I was told its a wheel speed sensor issue, ( which is in the hub assembly....

bump!

Obvious signs point to EGR but o2 , vac leaks, and fpr still sould like an issue :???:

If the EGR is bad, it in itself is a vacuum leak. Replace it...
