My vote is the Saab.

Looks like it made a valiant effort to wedge itself underneath your hind end. Everybody ok?

From what I saw on FB, it appears it was a friend in the Mustang that hit him, and yes everyone is OK.

Ohhh man. Sorry to hear about this. Curious to know the story.....damage doesn't look too bad to the Saab at first, but it looks like that rear 1/4 is tweaked, plus whatever lies underneath. As for that Mustang, wow! His front bumper support is unscathed - must've had a huge amount of nosedive to wedge itself under your car (and those '05+ models have fairly chunky bumpers). Judging by how the radiator looks, I bet that core support is trashed.

It's also interesting to see that the '05+'s obviously have steel/aluminum hoods, whereas the '94-04's are fiberglass that just breaks. Didn't realize they had made that change.

Some states and companies have restrictions on how old a car can be when determining if you can buy the car back or be allowed to keep it if they deem it totaled. Last I knew, in Illinois, a car has to be 9 years or older to keep it. Weird rule...

Probably to allow people with collector cars to buy them back, etc.

I think the wierd part is the fact that the car has to be 9 years old to buy it back, that you can't buy a newer one.

This could be for people that "accidentally" total they're car, when they get upside down on their car loan. Which is really fraud but they are able to do anything so make up these stupid rules. Some people wreck it for everyone.

Saw Cody randomly at the Ford dealer I take my Fiesta to... He was driving a Mazda3 of all things, although he never explained why, so I figured I should check the forums and lo and behold... *dang*, that sucks...

I do know what he was there to drive, though ;)
