On my 2001 Bonneville se I did the front suspension with quick struts a few months ago. I think the rear shocks need to be changed, too. I have the ride leveling suspension with the fe-1 shocks. Should I get them again. They are about twice as expensive as the Monroe air shocks. According to the Advance Auto site, the Monroes will work with the ride leveling unit. So, does anyone have any advice?

What's your question? The only true factory replacement shock is the Monroe MA822 Max-Air shock. Even the AC Delco's aren't right. There is no quick strut or anything else.

Defiantly do the rear shocks… normally the rear should be done first… My Opinion.

I measured 28” at all four wheel wells… Before. 160,000 miles 2002 year. SE
I would have done rear first… That’s all it really needed…
After Monroe 171685 Quick-Strut Complete Strut Assembly in front; With a 2’ carpenter level for alignment… I was nearly 29.5” in the front and 28 in the rear...
After the New rear shocks and some circular driving in both directions…and other anti lock brake testing… Ha!!! I was 28.5 in rear and 29.25 in front…
What are other people finding for measurements at wheel wells????

New springs take more time than a drive around the block to settle in.

I've never measured my car at the wheelwells, lol. All I know is it sat level when my ELC wasn't working this summer, and now it sits slightly rear-high with a rake.
