As far as the different methods of getting to the Air Mix Actuator go, I read where one guy took a soldering iron and melted some of the ductwork to create an access hole and then taped it up later, but I could not find any photos. Does anyone have a detailed procedure on this particular method?

Just completed the fix a month ago. Not too bad of a project, Not really hard just ackward working position. It fixed all my A/C issues. The nipples in the connector go soft and close off the lines. By following the info for the Lasabre in the techinfo was able to figure it out. Went existing vacuum line to existing vacuum line with 7/64 vacuum line, bypassing the connector. You can do this project.

Not only that, they won't put your dash back together properly either. I know because I had it done once and never again. I'll let my son do it. The instructions on the forum on how to do it work. - BC
