Washed, polished headlights real quick, polished out much of the paint transfer, knocked the dent out a little on the rear passenger side by the tail light.

Just a couple pics for now, this thing is going to look AMAZING when I am done with it ;)

Thanks for the compliments so far! I have already gone crazy over this car, no way it is going anywhere! It is road ready right now, but will have a complete detail done before it is driven, pics will be posted along the way.

I am ruining about painting the wheels black with a red lip. I showed Heather samzgxps old GXP with the black 20"s and red lip and she loved the look. These wheels are pretty curb rashed anyways, might give that a try. Tinted tails as well as tinted windows will come too.

It is a good looker, but I don't think I'd give up that SSEi for a GXP. If you do, I think you might regret it sooner than later...

I did the SSEi/GXP transition almost a year and a half ago - selling the perfectly solid 95 - and never looked back :P

Like I said in the previous thread when Ryan found the car, GXPs like this are fine for guys like Ryan, who enjoy working and tinkering with cars, and aren't afraid to tackle more complex or tight repairs at home. When they run good, they are amazing. :)

As much trouble as this SSEi has been the last five years I doubt it lol. At $2,500 even if I have to put a $1,000 engine in I still come out ahead. There will be no regrets here, I have drooled over the GXP since the first time I seen one

It was $2,500 out the door tax title everything, and yes, it does have a clear title ;)

And I am with you Jerry... this thing is a beast! Pulls HARD!!! Can't wait to get some exhaust under it :)

All these times I've been up your way and I haven't got you to drive my car yet  Not a problem anymore, heh.

Enjoying the rush at 4000 rpm?

Paint correction begins tomorrow. I had to cut grass today so I didn't have time.

Not quite sure what to call this one yet, probably have to drive it for a bit first to see. One thing for sure though, every time I look at it I love it more and more!

What do you guys think of black painted GXP wheels on it?

Not bad Ryan, hope it doesn't give you much trouble. I know you'll get it back looking nice.

Plasti-dip wheels? At this point they're already FUBAR, so painting them doesn't really upset me much...

I'd say plastidip them first. That way you have an out if you don't like them.
