Just picked up this 92 SSE over near Dayton Ohio yesterday.
It's in pretty good shape and runs great...best of all...only 57k actual miles on it !
I'm from Richmond Indiana...which is in the East Central part of the state.
Here's the only pics I have of it so far....they were from the for sale ad:

Score ! That's a niiice '92 !!!
Interesting that they painted out the OEM alloy rims car body color w/ a polished lip. (Or were they offered by Pontiac dealers in paint colors other than white?)
I am still investigating doing something similar with a set of the 'usual suspects' 1997 Bonneville 5 straight spoke mags for my wife's Bonnie...

Aerolites were available in either silver, or body color and ONLY available in 1992, and 1993. I love those wheels, and that car. Finally an EXACT twin (minus a blower) to the one my friend's dad had, that car made it to 300k easily!
LOVE it!

I think only 92 could have them in any color. In 93, they pared it down to silver, white, and gold, I think.

I usually don't like that color green, but that thing is clean and the body colored wheels make it look really sharp!

Thanks everyone.
I've driven it about 350 miles in the past few days and it's been performing pretty great !
It will need a few things...but nothing that isn't normal for a 20 yr old car.
The clear is coming off of the bumper covers....both ends. (I've already found one the same yr and color that is getting parted out...with good parts.....if the parts will stay there until my work cell ends !! LOL)
I've got a slight exhaust leak around the convertor...more than likely at the bolted-on area (I'm assuming).
The exhaust leak isn't bad at all....I'm just picky about exhaust because I used to own an exhaust shop for 6+yrs ! LOL
The interior is in pretty awesome condition...with the only real flaw being the visor covers....driver's side is removed and passenger's side is just getting a bit saggy/loose feeling (just the cloth part).
The headliner is great.
The seats, carpet & dash all look very nice...with the seats and carpet actually looking like new !
No burnholes and I haven't even seen any stains on any of the carpet/seats.
The only other problem with the interior...is the console lid is peeling up around the edges (also grey).
The HUD is really low on the windshield (too low to be able to see when seated regularly).
It works great...and the dimmer part of it works....it's just the position slider thingy isn't really working and it's too low.
I'll try to reposition the whole unit a bit on my next days off.
I noticed that I can put a small amount of pressure on the HUD and it moves it's location a bit...so I'll try to just move it if I can't get the position slider/knob to work
Brakes are good...but will need rotors turned or replaced eventually (they pulsate a bit when applied at highway speeds)
A rock took out the passenger's side front marker lens on the way home...I think....because it sounded bad when it hit and the lens has a big hole in it that I didn't notice before I bought it.
The factory air compressor inflation kit seems to be there and it works.
The A/C works good and still has R12 in it (I was told that it was still R12 anyways)
It carries about 60lbs of oil pressure going down the road...and around 45lbs is the lowest that I've ever seen it (in gear-at temp-at idle)
I'd like to fit some later model wheels to it....so those wheels might be available sometime in the near future !
So far it's been a pretty good deal and is perfect for my drive to work.
We carpool and sometimes I may have to drive and it's got plenty of room for all of us.
I'd like to have the Supercharged version...but I'm not complaining because it's got plenty of backbone for what I need it for !

That's a very nice find with those miles! I find it interesting that many people would prefer the supercharged version; it's neat to have it but in this day and age I'd certainly prefer the normal 3800 so I don't have to run premium fuel, and get better fuel economy on top of that.
I've been looking at 92-95 SSE's for sale online for years. It seems like well over half of them are supercharged. I would be way happy to find a non supercharged SSE especially with low miles.

I tried adjusting it...but it doesn't move it up & into my field of view....it doesn't really move
it up at all.

The cable might be broke or disconnected then.
