So my compressor a few weeks ago ate itself (innards of the compressor let loose)... so now New compressor is installed along with a full AC line flush, New Variable Orifice Valve, New reciever dryer, evac, oil, dye and 2.5lbs of R134 (calls for 2lbs but drivers side not cold at spec) and all back up and running again. My passanger vents measured at 25* and the drivers side measured 25-30*! shiznit is ice cold... brings back memories of the good old R12. On a good note, the ladies are going to love it... on a bad note i may have mad Shrinkage...

Anyone know what the normal output of the AC temps are supposed to be? wondering if the $21.99 VOV is working better then the $1.99 standard Orifice Valve..

I was used to temps in the 35*-40* range.

You need to be careful with it running that cold to make sure you don't freeze the system.
