Anyone done it?

You mean smoothed firewall? cant remove your engine bay lol.

Not that I know of new cars. Lots of hot rods do though.

Do you mean a wire tuck? Re-routing the wiring so it's much less visible?

I shaved the rad support, both areas in front of the strut towers, and the strut towers.
I tucked all body electrical harnesses, brake lines, the battery (in the bumper), coolant res (in the fender), and kept abs (in the bumper).
I still have to finish tucking the engine harness though.

Then, yes besides the firewall. IMO the fuse box cover on the 92-99 looks better there than not. Otherwise the blower box would stick out of place.
