Okay I have posted this problem once before. Car has a knock when I start it and while its at idle. Doesn't affect performance, or at least it doesnt seem too. Thought it was a bad injector, replaced injector on what seemed to be the bad one from ohm reading. Did not make a difference. Open to ideas and suggestions. Runs rough instead of smooth. Thanks

is it a knock in the engine? it could be a couple things causing it not to run right... I would try removing and cleaning the MAF and if you have a way to scan it check the maf opperation.. a bad MAF would cause it to run bad. MAF are kinda expencive (100ish bux new) so i would say check other things as well before throwing parts at it. I would check the plugs and wires... try unhooking them one at a time and see if the idle/studder changes... that will narrow it to a cylinder... from there you can determine if the plugs are shot, wires are shot, ignition coil is not working or working poorly. if thoes all check out then i would probably do a compression test on all cylinders to make sure its got good compression.. if that comes back low then it could be a bent valve (not to common) or bad rings.
