I'm still wanting to go in with 3 others on the Hp tuner set up if interested. If you are in the southern suburbs of chicago and would like to learn how to use these tuners I'm in.

If we get 3 more people thats roughly 100.00 apiece with 8 credits. Learning to operate it will be a challenge but with 4-5 people working together will help.

Do you know if one credit will cover both your car and mine? Or are they trim specific? Also, Will might want in on this.

I'm not sure if multiple cars can use the exact same tune or are they vin number tagged?

http://www.hptuners.com/products/vcmsui ... faq.php#a8 maybe if you read this you will understand better, looks to me it takes more than one credit to do one car?

You can either buy a model year of a car, or you can buy the credits per VIN. Our cars take 2 credits for one individual car.

I might consider loaning mine out. But until I get my P0171 issue fixed it is tied up.

3 credits will do all 2000 bonnevilles for example. It's pretty easy to use once you have the software installed on your computer. I like mine.
Edit: it may not be 3 credits but that's what I recall.

Shot in the dark, can the software be installed on more than one pc? Im in either way but figured I would ask for the sake of convenience.

Yes, it's just a CD you install the software off of, you just have to use a code or something to be able to tune.

A new HPT will ship with 4 credits. It takes two credits to unlock ONE vehicle. It takes 4 credits to unlock ONE model, ONE year. In other words, 4 credits will allow the full 2001 Bonneville spread, be it supercharged or not. Extra credits are 50 bucks each, most vehicles will take two.

VCM Suite
VCM Suite is designed for both the home enthusiast and the professional tunershop. Includes VCM Editor and VCM Scanner! 8 credits are included which is enough to tune at least two vehicles and in some cases, four or more vehicles! Now that I'm totally confused as to haow many cars we can actually tune for the 500.00, I would like to make sure before I drag you guys into this thinking we are going to get all 4 or 5 people tuned for the initial money. This is saying some cars take 4 credits, so that would at the worst case be 2 cars for the 8 credits or we all might get tuned. If it's the worst case that would be buying more credits and therefore would cost more than I originally thought

. How can I find out for sure? Call them?
