Is anyone interested in trying to put something together for Houston? I live between Houston and Conroe. My suggestion would be to have it were it would be convenient for as many as practical. I would hope a Friday evening, or Saturday afternoon or evening would be good, but any other suggestions would be great. We could possibly have it when and where there is another gathering of car enthusiasts too.

I'm an old Steak n Shake fan. There is one on FM1960 West close to Jersey Village.

Any input, suggestions, or interest? I’m new at this, so I won’t know when I do something wrong unless someone says something.

I'd be game for a meet. Probably sometime in the fall? Hopefully the SSEi will be done by then, but who knows....

Well, maybe we could meet in Navasota, TX. Hopefully there will be more interest. If it's the fall, there is a state park west of San Antonio, "Lost Maples" that is absolutely beautiful, if there is not drought. I've never seen anything but photos. - BC

Count me in boys... its a shame I don't still have the Bonnie but I would love to meet yall and drool over M90's and laugh at Mustang owners.

I'm easy. We see it every time we go down I-10 to San Antonio or Austin. Just hoping we can find a place where everyone can get a bed, good food, good scenery, and a little history or something else. We could go the other extreme and go east. There is the Royal Purple track (oval & 1/4 drag strip) in Baytown along with the San Jacinto Battle grounds and the Battleship Texas. Lots of good eating places too. - BC

Honestly, the best "first" meets are central, and one where everyone drives there and home in the same day. If you plan a big meet and only get one or two guys, that's kind of a let-down. A lunch meet always seems to work out well.

Would love to have a coffee meet. I'm not sure you would want to drive all that distance for just coffee, but we'd love to have you there if we do have one. - BC
