In progress.

I got a new polisher today (the old one started smoking) and started a good spring cleaning. These are pictures after a mild polish and wash. No wax yet.

The hood, don't mind the fuzzies from the towel I dried with:

and 2 for good measures:

More to come after wax and then to find a good location for some pictures.

Looks really good! Where did your headlights and fogs go?

What polisher and polish did you use?

Fogs and headlights are getting a treatment also:

Left after some sanding, right is how they started:

Work in progress on both. These I work on at night while I am sitting in the garage with nothing to do.

I got a used polisher at a pawn shop. Nothing fancy (Snap on) and using some Meguire's Solo 1 cut and polish cream.

Those don't count as Ryan shots... car looks good, nice work! Lights look like they'll turn out nice, too!

What happened to the orange peal? Buffer, wet sanding, or a great paint job, or was it Meguire's Solo 1 cut and polish cream?

Looks like a show car from here! - BC

I know it will be asked, the wax I used is the Meguiar"s NXT. This is with the wax applied and a hand polish.

Still working on details like the wiper arms, fogs and headlights. There are other little things I am taking care of also. It will probably take me a couple more days to get things done that I want to do.

Sometimes I feel like I put so much work into my car and no one in my life gives a *shoot* how good it looks.

You'll find no shortage of appreciation for your shiny car here. Looks amazing, sir!

Thats cause to most people a car is just a mode of transportation and doesnt need anything but gas.

Time for more pictures

I always said I wouldn't, but I painted my calipers red. I then used the stickers I bought from another member and put them on:

While painting the calipers, I cleaned the insides of the wheels.

Wendy and I took a long drive today and rolled it over the 155555 mile mark (although the motor only has 37k on it)

I then took a few more pictures of the dash while driving along

And then the exterior. Right now we are getting some warmer days, but they are still cloudy. So, here is the chicken in the whole.

And if you did not notice, I painted the boarder of the grilles.

Did a little sprint today. I am running a 3.2 pulley with 0*KR. I think I am going to order me a 3.0 this week.
