When http://www.uship.com failed to find someone to haul this over a month, I decided to go get it myself. 1400 miles one way, from MN to GA to MN. I left on Tuesday morning, and picked up the car Wednesday afternoon. This is how the car sat when I got there.

I stopped at a Pic-a-Part in Indianapolis on Thursday and found an 05 SLE. I got everything here pictured for a steal, $303.

2847 miles and $911.76 in fuel, and I'm home.

Good find at the pic-a-part near me. Indiana has always had great prices on car parts in salvage yards. Hit me up whenever you pass by Indiana again. I need someone to help swap my transmission this summer.

With a buckled A-pillar I'd say this GXP is pretty well done. 1 of 2420...

Please Andrew, please tell me it is a part out.

I am curious on the price.

And I have to agree, with a buckled A-Pillar, the thought of putting it back on the road makes me sick.

Glad to hear the trip went well and awesome price on all the SLE parts! That should help offset the fuel bill a bit!

Good work Andrew.

Is the suede really that bad, or is it just the picture? AKA how much work do we need to do to get them in good shape again?

And now I'm drooling over those tails too (*dang* I hate this, LOL).

EDIT: Dibs on the both shifter knobs, the plain for my buddy's 05 SLE, the GXP for dad's car. Both had the buttons pop out...

With that much damage in front, how challenging is it to get the drivetrain all out?
