License Plate Bulb Holder

So I took advantage of the St. Patti's sale and ordered some LEDS to put on the Beast for "SpringBreak ^12". When I switched out my license plate bulb I noticed the fit for the LED was tight. I should have taken pics while doing this but I did not think I would come across this problem. The socket where you twist the bulb in has gunk built up badly to the point that only the rounded bulb will fit. Has anyone else have this when replacing the bulb? I'm guessing a bulb may have busted in there at some time in its life. Moving forward does anyone know where I can get the license plate bulb holder? I'm pretty sure that is not the name. Any suggestions will be helpful though. Stay tuned hopefully I can get some night shots of the switchbacks it storms.
