2000 SLE

Figured I would post the new car we picked up. This will be replacing a 95 Riviera 3800 N/A.

2000 Bonnevilee SLE with the 3800 Series II, 4T65e 2.83 final drive (replaced about 3K miles ago w/ 79K mile trans), high flow trans filter, new shift spring (shifts 1-2 hard), DOT6 and lucas treatment. Car has new rear air ride shocks and mounts. The car has a "supercharged" air box and NY emission controls :(

Interior is cloth and VERY clean. A few small issues but nothing major.

Exterior has rust under the fill lid. I need some help addressing this. Also a rust spot on drivers door which will be an easier fix. Other than that theres a few smaller defects but overall good.

This is a 2000 SLE with 113K on it. We got a very good price on it.

That filler door rust is a bad thing.
Happens to alot of the 00+ cars. To fix it right you have to have a new quarter panel put on. Or at the least replace the area around it.
Here's a link to why it happens and how to fix it viewtopic.php?f=18&t=21288&p=222386

I LOVE that color! I've only ever seen ONE besides yours. It was a de-badged and tinted SSEi with 20 spokes, in SoCal of all places when I was there this summer. :btruestory:

I have no idea what it is called, to me, your blue looks darker, Bob. Either way I'm a sucker for a blue Bonneville. :btruestory:

Nice ride! Other than the rust, she'll clean up beautifully.
