Well... lets shimmy and shake!

I have been having a annoying weird issue with my Bonneville. It sometimes shifts hard, but I know that issue already. But that is not as often as the entire vehicle shaking and jerking. When I go WOT, the shifts are absolutely horrid! The car jerks, and shimmies. I have tried quite a few things to no avail... until I started disconnecting sensors. I tried the MAF same issues, the TPS, but obviously it would not shift then, and finally got around to the egr, and the engine no longer freaks out. The entire time the tranny still shifted perfect, but the engine would jerk and such. The mount appears good, and the only way the issue stops is to have the egr disconnected. Could it be that the egr sticks open during WOT, causing the engine to not run properly? Also as of the past week, only in second gear around 3500 RPMS, the car feels like it loses power momentarily, and then takes off again. No change in RPM, only feel, and sound. Could the problems be related? But should I go ahead and replace the egr, could that solve my main problem?

Codes or check engine lights at all? Motor/Trans mounts could cause the bad feeling shifts

No, no codes at all. Not even P1811. I figured it was a mount, until I started unplugging things and it went away. That and it never happened when the car was cold. This truly has me confused... I tried searching everything possible on here and still couldn't find anything like it.

Again i am not sure if it is related or not, but tonight getting onto the highway, I went to accelerate; and just before it downshifted the car sputtered a couple of times... what could that be?

As far as I could tell none...
I guess it is time to just start guessing. LOL
I will start taking sensors off the 96 and trying them on the 99, and see if anything helps. If not I will have to get much more in depth.
