One year ago today...

One year ago, I was lucky enough to come across this steal of an SSEi, and quickly sold my 06 Impala to buy it. 15,500 miles later, it somehow looks better than when I got it, I’ve been told.
This car started a new, exciting chapter of its life one year ago today. Meanwhile, I was working on a new part of my life as well, so we both opened up new chapters at the same time. Mine started out with depression, almost suicide. Something came about that made me realize my life was worth sticking around for, and I like to credit some of that to Pontiac Bonneville Club. If I had not bought this car (or any other Bonneville) I would not have even found Pontiac Bonneville Club, and I would not have met any of the great friends I have as a result of this. Life would be different for sure. Things that I have done in the past year include some things I would not have done for some period of time if it weren’t for the people I have encountered here. Things in my personal life, that is. Looking back, I did not imagine myself where I am now, just like I never imagined this car where it is now.
I had it for not even a day and I already had the windows tinted, the next day I had the Flowmasters put on. I said to myself I would stop there. If I were to post pics of each modification, my intention originally for this thread, it would slow even the most up-to-date computer processors…
Mod bug bit hard, eh?
Then she hit the pages of High Performance Pontiac, which was a real confidence booster, not only for my writing but for my love of all things cars. It was a huge compliment to have the editors choose my car, and article to go in their magazine.
I do have more plans for the car, you’ll just have to stay tuned, as usual.
As for me? I plan to continue my studies seeking a degree in Education, with a possible minor in Journalism. Anything else, I take one day at a time and see what happens.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Pontiac Bonneville Club as a whole for being the great, friendly, and helpful community that it is.
Can you believe you’ve put up with me for a whole year???
So, without any more of my heartfelt sentimental babble to get in the way, here are some of the first pictures I ever posted of what would become Eleanor; The White Limo, to compare to pictures I took just today.
Enjoy!

Was this car really ever that...stock looking? *dang*...lol
