2000 bonneville SLE Transmission PCB compare to PBB ??

Post by shipmanlights »

Hello;
I have a 2000 Bonneville SLE with a bad transmission. I am looking for a replacement. I have the factory DVD but the transmission for MN3 is not listed. Mine is 0PCB on the differential housing. All I can find is 0PBB or 0PAB in the manual. I know some have different electronics and converters, IMS switch. Does anyone know the difference between the 0PCB and the others listed?
any incite is very much appreciated.

As to PBB or PCB Both are 3.05 ration F83:

I know this thread is very old, but I found it when looking for the same issue. After speaking with Dave from Triple Edge Performance, I wanted to put the answer here for future searches. I hope this is okay with the mods.

There is NO mechanical difference between these trannys, they are interchangeable with no programming necessary. The only thing you might see is the smaller TC, but this will work fine as well. (The larger being more durable and a slightly dif stall speed, but nothing that is a deal breaker)

I posted this here because I spent hours and even spoke with GM and nobody had the answer.
