My Old Friend *UPDATE 10-28-12*

I realized that I haven't taken very many (or any) pictures of the 66 this summer. So I figured what better to do when its 40* out on a Sunday morning? I'll go wash the car! My hands aren't thanking me...*dang* sensitive skin...
Anyway, Here are the most recent shots of our now trophy winning All original 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Holiday 4 door Hardtop Sedan.
It has 85k miles, is a Tennessee car, and has a 330 C.I. V8 with an Olds Jetaway 2 speed trans. We are only allowed 2 mods before entering a modified class, which we would fail at miserably, so we have a Flowmaster 40 series muffler and the 4-4-2 Wheels as our mods. Everything else is stock and will stay that way. :btruestory:

Usually a couple times a week if everything goes right...It sucks A LOT of premium. I mean A LOT. But it is fun to drive, we usually average maybe 500-1000 miles a year on it...Which is more than we should with the plating its got on it, but like I care...lol Believe it or not, this is one of the easiest cars to drive, even without a passenger mirror. :btruestory:

I rode in this car before I rode in the SSEi when I came to visit! The car is very clean and sure floats down the road. I still think the most interesting feature of these cars is no pillar between the doors!!! This makes me wanna get some pictures of my dads chevelle lurking in the garage!!! :D

Yeah I knew somebody would say something like that, but It is top on our list for that car, we don't really do much with it other than shows, and the engine IS clean, just not pretty. We have won trophies at shows because of it being a survivor, unrestored, unmolested. :btruestory:

Things like that scare me a little bit...I'd rather go about it the old fashioned way...I'm pretty old school *obvious*

Use CD2. Makes hoses, belts, wiring looms, plastic, etc SHINE. It's great, but you can only find it certain places.

I'm going to throw an unfortunate update on this thread.... This car is officially and regrettably up for sale. If anyone is interested PM me. Money is tight, and space is limited and this is one toy we can afford to get rid of, sadly.

Nice car. Too bad about having to sell. I'd like to own an original untouched car someday.

Here's your chance... :poke:

I'd like to see it go to a home where it won't end up on 22's or bright orange or something. This kind of car needs to be kept as it is, there aren't many original ones left....

Should put this on the sale listing.....

Over Protective, Collectors Only Please!
This is an all original car that NEEDS to stay that way.

**No Rap videos, No 30" wagon wheel rims, No Alligator interiors. Perspective buyers will be subject to a background check, fingerprint analysis, and a psychological profile check... to make sure they are not insane and/or Waka Flocka.**

Ice Cubes ok....

No Wait no Ice Cubes either...

Hey, buyers may see how serious you are about finding a good home for it and know that you really loved this car.
They may think... Wow, a sense of humor, AND a beautiful car! Its a Win/Win situation!

LOL! Could you imagine?

(I'm kidding of course) :P

I think its a F@#%^&G Shame u gotta sell that Gem.....

Very understood on your reasoning though :-(

:laughing3:

If only I could do that... We're not making an ad per se. Just a word of mouth thing for now, we're in no huge rush about it.

It is a huge shame... I'm going to miss this one bad. I know it already. Just time to let it go I guess...
