I bought some new rear struts and now the back end just wants to go to the moon. I didn't know how to calibrate it or the procedure to correct this. Thanks for any help in advance.

Your link is jacked up, I don't advise anyone clicks it.
If your sensor arm came disconnected, it would think it's sagging and keep the rear end inflated. I'd check that, the connector and its wiring first.

I found what I think to be the sensor,

but the electrical connector was still together

I am guessing the arm on the level sensor is not on the ball stud.

The ride height sensor has been known to fail, causing that problem.

Is there only one sensor or are there two sensors?

On a bad note, it throws off your alignment. You have positive camber on the rear wheels and negative caster in the front.

How can one test the leveling system? I hear mine after startup, but on a trip with 5 people in the car and luggage in the back, the car squatted in the rear like most vehicles would. I thought the load leveling feature would prevent this.

This issue happened with me. I found the easiest poor solution was to keep a chuck on the inflator in the trunk to keep it deflated.

The easiest good solution was to replace the rear shocks with the Monroe conversion kit. They ride very nice, and I don't mind the lack of air shocks (I think they were sorta useless for my needs . . . except for that one time i bought weights). The only downside is that my air compressor sits unused now, since it drains itself through the shock lines. If I want to fill my car tires, I have to go some place where they get filled in 20 seconds instead of a half an hour . . . . and I'll never be able to fill beachballs on demand ever again . . .
But the conversion was SOOOO easy, seriously. You'll take all the electrical guesswork out and have a good-riding vehicle.

To test, pop the rod from the ride height sensor off from the lower control arm. Push up. The compressor should start up to fill the shocks. Center should be off, and pulling down should vent the air out of the shocks.

you could get a manual setup and run the stock pump to it so you can raise/lower it on your own.... would make loading the trunk eaiser... AND you can enter your car into a Muscle car show and a Low rider show just by flipping a switch.... and you can do cool stuff like this:
JK.. Do what Archon said. My money is on the sensor being faulty

My 2005 SLE seems to have the same problem....so how much does the sensor cost?

PM Harofreak00, I'm sure he has one or two left. Probably $30 I'd guess.

Which side of the car is the sensor on? Driver or passenger?
