Easiest headers to install on a '97 SE?

I've been out of the game for a while, so forgive me if this is a dumb question...
What is the best header solution for the 96-99 body style? I recall that every available header set needed to be modified in some way to fit this body style (as well as moving the PCM IIRC). Which header brand has been found to work better than the others for the 96-99?

AFAIK TOG's are still the best, but they went out of business, so they're hard to find. SLP's are good too, but your best bet is probably getting the e-bay headers and making them fit, for the price.

Which Ebay headers seem to work the best? Any opinions?
Honestly I had no idea there were any Ebay header sets available. Frankly I'm surprised at the number of options out there.

IIRC The SSAC's aren't too bad. I have no personal experience, however.

If anyone has some feedback about installation or fitment of any of the header kits available I would love to hear it. I'll do some searching through the forum as well. Thanks.

Ben!
S&S have done well for us, but you'll need better fitment advice. Myfirstbonnie might be the guy, he'll find this.
EDIT....you're still in AZ. Bob and Thomas have direct experience with S&S, particularly the model with the smaller primaries which may be EXACTLY what the doctor ordered for your big bad white.

One thing to remember is that there are no headers mande for these cars and you must plan on having issues.
Make sure you get a W-body dipstick for your transmission. Some have bent theirs to work, but I just made a run to the JY.
I installed the Pacesetters on my 2k and replaced the cat while there. I am not sure how the exhaust would tie in on the 97 which Thomas and Bob might know more, so have a welder available to connect.
As for gaskets, use the stock steel ones, it does not matter what comes with them.
Also keep in mind the hardware to attach them, stock does not work due to the flange thickness and the studs can be stubborn coming out. Make sure you have a can of PB blaster by your side. Soak them well and let them set a little while.
As for ease, they will all be about the same. Like I said, none were "made for the Bonnevilles" so you will have to keep that in mind.

A thread chaser will be your best friend for the tapped mounting holes in the heads.
