Looking for a good wheel cleaner to get off baked on brake dust, Ive used Black Magic but it doesn't really take off the brake dust, just gives the wheels a good shine. Opinions?

I use simple green. works well for me. if its been on the wheels for a while though, your going to have to use some kind of brush and good ol' elbow grease.

I tried Meguiar’s and was very disappointed in it. - BC

I'm not sure how thats possible. I have used it on every chrome Bonneville wheel I have cleaned up (in excess of 50 rims) and it has produced amazing results everytime.

For what ever reason, I have almost always had better (best) results with Turtle Wax products (it sez Turtle Wax, not ICE or what ever their different products there are). Meguiars isn't bad and the NX2(?) wax is impressive, but not sure it's $17 impressive. I will say the longer it's on the car, the better it is. - BC

For the chromies, I like Mother's Pro-Series Chrome Wheel Cleaner and then some chrome wheel cleaner.
