Lots of cussing and swearing involved in this swap, my car was down for a whole week - a lot more work than most cars, where the Morimoto Mini projectors are almost a direct fit. NOT for the 2000+ Bonnevilles!! Your workload will be the similar as any larger projector swap. My kit -- I did 4300K: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/produc ... cts_id=227

Combined are 3000K H3 HID fogs. The GXP already has projectors from the factory in the fog location, so no glare and the swap was straightforward. Yellow for optimal imclement weather visibility and actual fog performance.

Lamin-X film is a great way to add yellow to fog lights, and protect them too if anyone is curious.

Jerry, would you still do the MM again, or go full retrofit on another set of headlights now knowing what you know?

Would be hard to say, I don't know how well the other projectors fit. The Morimoto kit still offers almost all of the performance of the big kits for less cost.

Why did you go 35 over 50?

The intention of the projectors was to do HID's properly without blinding people, and since I live in an urban area with a population of 5 million, I wasn't about to take the risk that they would be too bright. I also didn't want to run the risk of yellowing or melting the outer lens from the extra output.

If I lived out in the sticks, 55W would be the sure bet!
