Hi,
Just joined having acquired, for $1.00, a '95 Bonneville from my father in law. This one was headed to charity and was rescued.
This car runs beautifully, and far as I can tell needs new motor mounts (engine jumps when put in gear). The check engine light has been on a year or so. Traction control inoperative, as is the cruise control, and the radio controls on the steering wheel are inoperative (any advice?) We're going to see if we can get some of these issues addressed, replace a few broken plastic pieces on the inside, and keep her as a round-town car.
I particularly like the lace wheels and the leather interior, both in pretty good condition.

Welcome to the club. :)

I would go to Autozone or other auto parts store that scans for free. Not 100% sure they can read your codes though, because of the in between time for OBD2 and OBD1 protocol for 95.
I would bet that a few of those codes are related to the above problems posted.

If you have an O'Reilly, they use to be able to pull out error codes from these cars. Since they were forced to return those "CodeScouts" for "better and more modern" devices, I don't know if they can.

JMHO, you got the better end of the deal. That looks like a great car & you should be able to further on a gallon of gas than the 2011's in the same class. - BC

That's a nice looking car. Welcome to the Bonneville club. If it's as clean as you say then it sounds like a firm investment. Bonneville's make great town-cars.
