This is a weird one...

When I'm driving only (not standing still) I hear a slight squeak squak when i turn the wheel slightly to the left. Doesn't happen all the time maybe 30%. Only when car is in motion,

Checked power steering fluid it is fine.

Anybody hear of this one???

Have you checked your brakes? Does it go away if you slightly press the brakes while the noise is happening?

Also check the lower part of the backing plate. Sometimes that likes to start rubbing against the rotor.

Thanks for the feedback...

Noise turned out to be the brake sensor....

Was time for new rotors and pads... Oh and motor mounts- car is tight and quiet now but my wallet is $1400 lighter

Were the rotors gold plated?! Geez. I'd love to see a break-down of the prices if you got an invoice.

Well the mounts and rotors were stock. I've had the car for almost 2 years and put about 20k miles in NYC which is probably the US capital for potholes. Besides oil changes and tranny fluid change I have not really put any $ into it otherwise except GAS.

It broke down to 750 parts (2 pads rotors and 4 mounts) and 650 labor

I doubt all 4 motor mounts were bad. I think they just wanted to stick it to ya, but it's too late now. I'd have asked for the old parts for them to show me how they broke.

I saw the mounts- before they were changed and after they were out- two were metal to metal the other 2 were on there way. didn't pay to just change 2 of them. we orginally thought there were 3 but there are actually 4

When the mounts go they just cause all other problems and stresses on other parts. If your buying any car with 60-80k miles chances are the mounts are not in the best of shape especially with a front wheel drive car and especially with a v8. The car is much better now
