ummmm no way on earth it would be cheaper to swap to a gxp motor, you would be far smarter to buy a gxp

Get a GXP. There's a car on youtube that has the swap, but it's a LOT of wiring and work. Far more than swapping in a 3800 S/C.

Swapping in the motor and trans will only get you one part of the GXP (arguably the worst part). You will then have to source the body pieces, suspension/brakes, wheels, seats, vents, gauges, shifter knob and you'll still be missing options like HUD and the trunk inflator. If you want a GXP, your best option is to sell your SLE and buy a GXP.

Yeah, there is no real point in just swapping the engine. You'd be taking (arguably) the worst part of the GXP and the (arguably) best part of the SLE and swapping...

A top swap to an l67 (the supercharged motor from the SSEi) would be MUCH cheaper and accomplish some of the same goals.

Agreed. Buy a GXP if you want one.

The best part of your SLE is the L36 that delivers decent performance while being cheap to maintain and operate. The GXP will likely be more expensive to do anything with.
