I got a check engine light and the OBD said this was the problem-
P0341
Camshaft position sensor A circuit Range/performance (bank 1 or single sensor)
I got a new CPS and wanted to know how to install it, thank you.

Before replacing the sensor, you should check to see if the interrupter is still there.
The sensor is between the water pump and harmonic balancer. One bolt and one connector and it comes right out. Once it is out, verify that the interrupter is still there using a mirror and flashlight.

Note: That sensor will only be visible if you rotate the motor by turning the crank pulley or having someone 'bump' the starter lightly a few times. It's a black plastic cap with a magnet in the center.
Carefully inspect the wiring harness to the sensor also. If a belt was ever thrown from the motor, it could be damaged. The sensors are inexpensive if the interrupter is still intact.

It's what we just described and showed. It's in the cam (timing) sprocket. Black plastic with a magnet in it. The cam sensor triggers a pulse every time that magnet passes by it.
