Gonna go ahead and start the thread. I'm the only idiot awake this early, maybe because I was sleeping outside in a tent while everyone else was in the warm house? Lol, actually I was nice and warm, it was a bit windy though which made for a noisy tent...
The arrivals so far. Don, Marik, Tracy and I are here.
Tenting it. My truck doesn't work so well as a windscreen. Amazingly, I actually got 24 mpg the entire trip down, with the AC running. I was shocked.
Marik's Buick. It deserves a picture all of it's own...
Don's little dog.
That's it for now. Not sure what the plan is today, gotta wait for everyone else to wake up and find out lol...

The Booze crew should be there within the hour, from what I can tell.

A cold front just moved across the state of Florida, so it should be nice in south Florida. I think tonight is going to be in the 30's in north Florda, but luckly they are much farther south.

LOL definitely...seems to be working fine though thankfully...
Marik working on his LeSabre...
Dave and big brother Booze working on fixing Dave's window regulator, all it needed was some lube and a good slap lolinnuendo
Boozemobile and Dave's SSEi
Found an A-pillar to replace the one I had with a tachometer...now it looks like factory again...
A little further back, these will migrate to my truck thread as well
Random working/sitting around
Conversation about clearing headlights, Lucas and mom doing some picture taking
Someday this little guy might be driving this.
Our Saturday gathering of cars.
Curt's little surprise in the trunk.
Standing around John's wrecked but clearly once very nice 98...
The fire pit and more cars...
Tracy, Lucas, and Briana.
Damage inspection.
Unfortunately I missed where Candy (Don's dog) was just going crazy and having a fun time playing with Lucas, but you can see how happy the little guy is about his new friend.

For the record...no that is not my child! It's Mr. & Mrs. Lunchbox... so.. does that make him a Snack Pack?
We had an Beeee Utiful day here. Curt brought the best meat I've ever tasted and now the campfire discussions have begun...gotta go... my turn to bring out a round of jello shots!

That's a good looking kid I've got there...makes me wonder who his daddy is

Mrs Lunchboxx took some pics and I will try to get them up tomorrow. I may have to change my name here from Lunchboxx to Lobsterneck.
To be fair, I should know better.....I live in this sunburn state!

More pics!
The flaming donut. We burned everything, even things that weren't necessarily flammable that night.
Marik's LeSabre. The Park Ave grille looks great on it...
Mike and his log lolinnuendo
The early firepit gathering. Briana, Tracy, Carolyn, and Selena.
Don's nice but rusty green 94 SSE and his white 91.
We adorned Dave's car with artwork which he proundly displayed for a day.
Big Booze and Don taking a look at the SSEi.
Lucas's new playpen!
My truck looking all shiny n stuff.
The grilling starts, and Matt threatens Don with a crowbar. (not really, it just happened to look that way when I snapped the pic)
Marik gives his standard greeting.

What I love most about meets (besides the cars) are the people and the comments made that, when you hear them again, makes you bust out laughing and no one knows why the hell you're laughing. "weeeeeeee!....Tink!" is by far my favorite.

For my money, this is the best quote in this thread.
Great pics so far, Dan. In a little bit I may get around to posting a few I took Friday and Saturday.
Oh, and for those that remember comments about last year's grilled Twinky, this year Curt brought boxes of them and we tried grilled Twinkies with Chambord (rasberry liqueur) drizzled on them afterwards. Not bad!! The grilled donuts were a bust, as they just flamed up, but were worth the try nonetheless.

Friday's run to the Junkyard
RedNeck Ingenuity at it' best. !
1) Hatch on a Camaro made out of wood, alum rail, tin, and plexiglass.
2) Cavalier custom dash complete with black hoochie carpet, plywood, and dryer vents
3) Monte Carlo got the 'best paint job' award... that plastic bag look is soooo sexy
4) forgot what car this was on... "I got a new airbrush tool and i'm not afraid to use it" award
I looked down and saw ... a Cougar. yes. I kept it. It was so weird to find a toy cougar lying in the dirt...it wasn't even next to a minivan!
Dan admiring MIkes....ummm... core. Mike really seems to be enjoying it.
High tech cleaning facility at the yard
Time to eat at Pub 44 in New Smyrna Beach FL...
What's a meet in FL without a Palm Tree Pic?
oh and what I found totally thrilling was....

...nope not that...
The freakn Harley shop next door... Merik was slightly upset I made everyone walk through it however... how can ya not?
Then we took the Scenic Route home...and accidentally found the 'no outlet to mainland' route. While we were there we took advantage of the ocean...and the port a potty
Sat's night fire was... silly at best. What do you do when you're cold and have a large supply of alcohol? Drink it to stay warm and burn things of course...
paper plates burn best when strategically placed upside down...
Candy Corn makes this "weeeeeeeeeeeTINK" noise when thrown in the fire (one will occasionally blow up too...) but it won't stay speared as well as the Candy Pumpkin
Sunday morning Cracker Barrell run... yes, Dan was smart and got a Big Boy's chair... Don and Booze are sitting in the 'made for children only' rocking chairs...because they could.... Merik and I (not pictured) sat on the church pew and amazingly it didn't combust into flames.
After taking pics of the cars (I'll let those with real cameras post them) we went on a field trip around a really big pond/lake to go to the bird tower... we found out that yes, it will shake if you try to make it. A couple of people who shall remain nameless...were not so comfortable with the idea.
That's all I have...
