My Baby... Bonnie II

This is my mistress Bonnie II the continuation of my Bonneville love affair. I used to have a 99 SE(now known as Bonnie I). I've had Bonnie II since July 3, 2009 and i have never loved another car so much in my life... My friends have caught me talking to her on many of occasions and sometimes even kissing her on the hood lol. So i don't have a camera but my friend at the autobody shop down the street told me that if i wanted he would take pics for me. So i saved that favor for my next all out wash and wax which was this past week in the morning after I got off from my overnight shift and like always every little bit of TLC Bonnie II gets is always by hand. I usually spend anywhere from 4-6 hours when its time for a wax or polish and I go all out. One time when I first got her last year i spent 10.5 consecutive hours hand buffing, glossing (twice), and waxing her. So I wanted to share my hard work(its a labor of love) with all of you and see what all of you think.

Bonnie II - 2000 SSEi currently has 154,000 miles

That's awesome! I think some tinted windows and tails + clear corners would be sweet though!

Did you swap the center caps or did you buy the swoopies after the car?

thanks to all of you guys, i really like the good feedback... and im not one to share all my secrets but i use zymol carbon for the dark colored cars and yes it is worth every penny of the 50 bucks a pint u pay for it. before the wax i used turtle wax black polish to bring out the luster of the black and clean up some of the swirl marks. for glaze i use meguairs #7 or 3m imperial hand glaze! and like i said in my original post its all by hand gentlemen! Bonnie II even has her own laundry basket of towels lol.

Ed sent me the link to the post on how to clear the fronts, but im not sure if i want to do that it looks like a very delicate project to do. I live in the Chicago area and some of the suburbs are not so friendly on tinted out cars... my 99 was tinted and i did get a few tickets in DuPage county, none in Will or Cook though.

I have never had an issue with my clear corners. You do have to put in an amber bulb, and as long as it shines amber it's perfectly legal.

=D> =D> =D> Very nice! Black is hard color to get the right look out of, but based on those pics, your Bonnie looks outstanding.
But I think it could use either nice CLEAN stainless steel or chrome exhaust tips. Regardless, great looking ride!

Just be careful how much "love" you show Bonnie II (especially in public).
