Hi again everyone. So i got rear ended last week :( not bad enuff to hav to replace anything juss paint cracks. So i am taking the money i am getting from this accident and putting it into my suspension( shes needs it really really bad). i am looking to keep the same ride height in the back but maybe lower the front 1 inch maybe 1.5 inchs. juss wondering if there is anything besides stock struts and shocks for our cars. i have also heard that cutting coils slightly which can lower the cars stance. Anyone heard of bad endings too cutting the coils thanks guys appreciate it alot.

Don't cut coils. That will end in disaster.

Replace springs and struts all around. Ask 95naSTA about what it took to get his car to not be pissed off with being lowered, then decide if it's worth it. Also take a hard look at tie-rod ends and ball-joints, as with 11 years on the road they probably need replacing too.

Do not cut the coils. I tried it a while back and it felt like the car was on a trampoline.

coilsprings.com will make custom front springs for you and there are no real performance struts made for our cars.

If you have a larger budget, you can adapt front GP AGXs, use GP front lowering springs, and get larger front brakes at the same time.

Here's my car with AGXs and GP Eibach front springs, the rear had 2" drop springs from coilsprings and Monroe air-assist rear shocks.

And a guide on how to do that.

Here's where I'm at now with coilovers I made out of the AGXs and 3" rear drop springs:

I did raise my engine and trans 1.5" so the CVs would be happy that low though.

Also, go with Monroe parts all around for struts.
