New Guy Intro

OK, for the record, I'm a club crasher (HAHA!). I'm not a Bonneville owner (but I do like that and many other cars). I am an owner of an '04 Monte Carlo SS with the L36 3800 drive train (absolutely LOVE it). I joined this forum as a source of additional info about this drive train, including modding it.
Now about me, I am a computer geek (I was pretty much born that way). I had next to NO interest in cars until I was 16/17 years old. I've lived in the Cleveland Ohio region just about all my life.
The 2nd car I ever owned was a 1984 Z28 Camaro. Before I bought it, the 3rd gen F-Bods were (and still are) my all time FAVORITE car. I bought the Z28 in '99, wrecked it, got it fixed and in '03, it spun a rod bear. She sits in my garage pending time, space and money to restore (I have much of the front end apart). She will run again!
I bought my Monte in September of '08. It was bought to replace my current daily driver ('91 Grand Am). But, as long as that Grand Am runs (it's close to 200K miles on it), the Monte gets to stay off the snow/ice/salt filled roads during the winter.
Now, to sound like a book info-mercial.... More about me and my cars can be found here:

I started the site back in '99-'00. I did it mainly to learn a little about HTML and Web site creation. I have kept it over the years as it's been a neat way to share info about my projects and I've e-mailed with some cool people as a result.
Points of interest:
Camaro Restore Project:

The Monte:

Anycase, that's me in a nutshell!
