slp's or ssacutochrome

Talk about modifications, or anything else associated with performance enhancements. Have a new idea for performance/reliability? Post it here. No idea is stupid! (please use Detailing and Appearance for cosmetic ideas)

ssautochromes are slp knockoffs iirc. i've talked with several people who installed them, some who have also used slp. they say they are basically the same.... and that it's a no-brainer to just go with the SSACs for the price. look up common SLP issues as the SSAC will likely have similar problems.

If you want ceramic coated headers get slp's, if you want stainless uncoated headers get speedaddy headers off ebay. Either way you go; get a new flex section installed onto them before you install them & buy torca accuseal clamps for the crossover, also a tube of copper rtv to seal the joints.
