Must've been pulling fumes. I know the tank is 18.5, and the fill tube has to be at least .5 gal, so yeah, your tank was empty, lol.

Hope you have a spare pump on hand for when yours dies, lol.

Not to mention that he probably filled it so full he killed his charcoal canister too! I know they have an achievement in Halo 3 for 2for1, shame they don't have it for a car.

Most I ever was able to get in was 17.5. I dont like running it low, with the Buick, the gauge looks the same whether it is a quarter tank, or on E.

Either that, or Weights and Measures needs to check that pump. :)

I've stuffed 17.9 gallons into my LeSabre's tank before. That was when it was run into fumes. And my pump was just fine.

right now at an 1/8th of a tank it would take roughly 100 bucks to fill up my truck

i've dropped over 18 into mine before, recently I had it so low the fuel pump was whining! I only had 5 bucks to stick in it so who knows how much it would have taken....

Thursday I went to 17.1 beforre the light came on 17.3 by the time I got gas. My Grand Prix the light would come with about 3 gals. left.
