So the bushings for my sway bar are junk (where it bolts to the cradle) and basically what i'm getting from the parts stores is "Dealer Part" anybody have any ideas, or even know of aftermarket poly's that would work? FE2 gran touring suspension, 30 mm swaybar.

If you go the poly route, either make sure they have provisions for lubing or that they are have some type of lube built in. I have neither and I wind up having to take the bushings loose every 5,000 miles to stop the squeaking. I'm due now and not in the mood to have to do it again.
If I could find rubber bushings to fit my oversize sway bar, I'd be on it in a minute.

Yeah the only thing I can find that's even close are link ends and control arm bushings on there

They have the bushings listed for my car...can someone verify compatibility?

Isn't your 98 PAU the same as the 92-99 cars, and not the 2k and newer?

On the forum help it says the 97+ PAU is listed w/ the 2k+ bonnevilles. I haven't had too much experience w/ the pre 2k's but chassis wise my friends 2k ssei seems pretty similar so i would assume that's right.

Let's see an under-hood pic so we can determine if you will run 2k suspension parts or 92-99. But the answer in either case is yes, you can use Poly, and they are readily available.

A friend on 3800pro was able to help me track some down with gmpartsdirect, they were kind of oddball to find but don't look to horrible priced on there, about $7 a piece an they're the factory rubber w/ that nyliner stuff or whatever it is they call it injected in. I don't have any good underhood pics that you can see strut towers or anything in, but i'll see if i can get out to my car later and take some because i'd be interested in finding out anyways.

You can use the energy suspension components from Autozone. Which kit you need still needs to be determined.

the energy ones usually wont be listed for any fwd version of our cars (in energy's catalog anyway). you can measure the spacer on your car, or you just have the parts person pull a stock replacment to measure, and thats how you determine your needed energy kit.

The problem was nobody carried a stock replacement for my car, i really didn't care if they were poly or not, i just wanted bushings lol I think i've finally got some tracked down now tho.

moog part number k5255 which is the same number as my 92s btw. so the 9.8120R will work for you acording to that listing. or replace the (R) with a (G) if you want black.

Simply measure the length of your bolt and spacer with the wheel all the way to one side and select the Energy Suspension kit the closest. You'll have to cut the spacer slightly to match on a 2k style, which your 98 seems to be?

2k Bonnevilles trim the spacer slightly. You don't want to re-use the plastic OEM spacer. They 'give' too much in compression.

Spacer? This is the actual sway bar bushing, that mounts the bar to the cradle, not the link ends, that might be some of the confusion here, I did replace the link ends, that was no problem, got the MOOG parts from Advance, but when I was doing those I found out the bar bushings were junk and THOSE were what were proving to be a bitch to find, sorry about any confusion! And I also took a pic of the engine bay yesterday afternoon so i'll post those once i find the usb cord for my phone. Thanks guys!

QFT!! Biggest bitch of the entire job pulling the motor, god it's such a stupid design. I wanna try and convert over to the 2k plus style motor mounts at some point. I dread replacing a serpentine belt like none other

my mistake. I thought we were talking about the end links. But, even for the frame mount busings, you wont find a listing for fwd either. You would still have to go with the universal kit. for my 92, this didnt work as the mount is off set. In your picture, it looks like your 98 has an even mounting. If thats correct, you would just need to get the kit for you diameter bar. you said 30 mm, which is 1.2 inches, so it would be kit 9.5171. but there are other factors which you will have to measure to be certain this kit will work. check out the chart.
