Need help doing in-car USB ports

Here's what I want...

USB ports (2 or maybe 4) under the radio in my car installed flush in the dash. How would I go about doing this? I know a few of you have done USB ports, so I was wondering if someone could give me advice here on what to buy, etc.

Thanks ahead of time.

Best thing I can tell you is to locate an SSE/Ei dash surround. That'll open up using the HUD switch area or the gain switch/Bose plate (like I did).

I used a USB extension cable, a hollowed out gain switch, and some JB-Weld stick putty to make it. Finished off with a sanding, red body glazing, and a few coats of the Duplicolor graphite interior spray.

Thanks! My next design will incorporate an aux-in jack for my Zune or laptop. I've got everything I need for it except time

If you don't smoke there's always the cigarette lighter too...

Now THAT's tight. Now to disguise a USB drive as a lighter ;)

In the ashtray/center console could be neat too. If you have a blank button pod next to the gear indicator, you could even do a recess down there.

I ran my aux input wire through the console to the armrest. There's plenty of room to let it stick out under the armrest door when in use (with the armrest latched shut), and completely concealed when not in use.
