Squeal when turning right

Hi all
The last few days i've noticed a somewhat loud squeal coming from the tire
on the front passenger side. I'm thinking it's a wheel bearing and will take it
to the front end guy on Monday but thought i'd ask here to see if it could
be something else. It doesn't make any noise when i make left hand turns.
Before i went on holidays (1400 kms) i noticed a noise coming from the same
side every revolution i would hear it. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Debb

Kind of a whirring sound? And squealing around corners. Classic signs of a bad wheel bearing, although they usually make noise when turning the opposite direction. (left bearing makes noise when making right hand turns). But, I'd be willing to guess it's a wheel bearing.

Ya I just like to whine like my SC!
It might have been paradise here for the last four months but just wait another month and we'll be back to wet roads.

I think I paid $425 each but only because I didn't want to have to wait for shipping from elsewhere. Cheaper south of the border, but then you pay for shipping, brokerage, duty, etc and wait forever for them to arrive.

Well took the bonne to the front end guys and it turns out it wasn't the wheel bearing, it was the back brakes (rotors and pads). I find this funny because i never felt anything with my brakes and the only thing noticeable was the squeal when i made a right hand turn. Turns out when i made the righthand turns the brake pad squealer would touch....lmao!
So all said and done new rotors, pads and labour was $415.....i'm happy...

You may be happy, but you could have saved yourself a few hundred dollars. You could have done the rear brakes in your driveway for under $100. Oh well, problem is fixed...

Yeah the hubby decided to pay someone else to do it as he's busy fixing the foundation of the house and building the deck.....my back and knees are to far gone for me to do it myself.
EDIT: Yes not as happy now.....

X2^
Brakes are one of the easiest fixes a person can do. Even if you had to buy the few tools required you would have still saved $300 plus.
but what the heck, it's fixed and maybe next time we can talk you or hubby through the job and save enough money to buy gas for a month or so.
