Black Betty's little sister

So as some of you may know, they love affair with my 94 SSEi came to a tragic end in Gresham, OR on my way to WCBF 09. The tranny let go at 5 am and it just wasn't cost effective to fix her, nor did I have the money on the spot. I was lucky to still have my 92 GP to fall back on but it didn't help that I still yearned for L67 power. I vowed to get either another black SSEi (00+ would be nice, I drove BoiseGTP's back to Boise, nice!

) or a black Regal GS. Although a nice black 00 Ei popped up on the local Craigslist, 5k wasn't in the cards so I let it go. A week passed and the beautiful 99 Regal GS came available for 2500. I convinced the wife to "go take a look" and fell in love. She's load to the hilt with full power, heated seats, performance shift, sunroof, practically everything and well kept. 155k.

When he told me he got it.... The first words out of my mouth were... Is it a GS?? All he said was Its an L67...LMAO...
I like it... Gotta love a Black Buick.... Too bad they didn't keep using the T-Type name plate it would be a dead ringer for it..
Lovin the car Ray

Thanks guys, I really wanted a Bonnie but it was 5k! The GS is just as nice at half the price. One of the local guys said that I could put 500lbs in the trunk and pretend it's a Bonnie!

Wow! That is a sharp Buick GS -I have always loved the way those wheels, when chromed, really set the cars off, especially a black GS.
P.S. Do I smell a intake of some sort or a u-bend delete as the first mod?

We had a GS for about 30,000 miles and sold it this past summer. Was a decent car.

Wait a minute, I had to haul that 500 pounds back to Idaho last time. No extra waight Ray.

I haven't had a ride in Rays car yet but I've seen and I like it. Nice find Ray.

That's pretty much exactly what I was going for when I found my Bonneville 3 years ago...
Congratulations and good luck with her!

Mods will come in time, I had a drop in panel from Betty so I guess she's modded now, plus a mild tune. U-bend is next on the list, funds permitting. I'll report the track results from this Friday's Club Challenge Racing.

Did we pretend your Bonnie was a Suburban then Keven?

That was at a local mod day, it belonged to the local Fiero dude Paul who did the L67 swap.

Nice I always considered the GS to be a cool sleeper.
