Wheelspin in second!
Accelerating from a stop, or from a roll.. On
my tires...
What I added:
APR 3" Sport Turbo-back exhaust, fully polished, 200 cell cat, single muffler, dual tips.
APR Stage II Software (Stage I is stock, Stage II needs an aftermarket downpipe)
- 200hp and 207lb/ft stock (underrated similar to an L67)
- I'm atleast 270hp and 320lb/ft
Looking at my instructions, I may have even gotten StageII+, which normally needs a new fuel pump.

I'll see what I can do for vids... Maybe an in-car or two tonight, not sure if I can rope someone in for external shooting till the weekend..
The 3" downpipe added A LOT of volume, at WOT it sounds a lot like an EVO with an opened up exhaust, and VERY tonal around town. Probably louder than my '93.

Added some parts from BSH (bulletproof speed hardware).
I'll get some pix later this week, when I do the install of a few more things...
Stage 2 PCV upgrade, with a Catch Can.

No pix of the plate on the valve cover as it's hiding under my engine cover until I get my CAI... But here's the catch can. The original revision of the PCV valve on GTIs had issues under stock tunes, I'm not sure if mine is the first revision, or updated from repair work... Running 20+ PSI i need this anyways. The Catch can traps oil and water vapors and doesn't let them back into the motor.
Here's the billet motor mount I got as well.

The polyurethane part actually slides into the holes in the stock mount to stiffen up and quicken it's response. The billet parts replace stamped aluminum pieces.

Good stuff.
Much more and your teeth will rattle as much as mine.
My BFI mounts are not too bad when it is warm; noticable when cold.
The camber plates transmit a lot of road noise.

This one isn't bad at all, infact it's not really noticable at all, I've MAYBE felt the trans declutching more coming to a stop. Otherwise it's main benefit is to reduce wheel hop, and get power down quicker. It mounts on the bottom of the engine to the subframe into rubber, I wasn't planning on it quite yet, but if the power comes on and the car is unsettled, it will just spin and torque steer a lot.
The massive Sway bar, billet end links and intake should arrive at SCI Performance Friday... then i'll be out of money lol..
