More suspension work

The original Bilstein shocks were replaced by the Jeep Dealer ten years ago with some Monroe gas shocks.

The springs were 21 years old and needed to be replaced. I have the build sheet so was able to obtain the exact springs. Both are slightly different. The drivers side has a higher rating due to slightly thicker coils and is 1/2" shorter than the right side one to make up for it being stiffer.
All powder coated for another 10 years of great service.

It looks new again!
Ready for the winter.

It might be a GM thing but if you check your build sheet you might see two separate codes for RF and LF springs. The rear 'leafs' are both LT code so must be identical.

It makes sense in light of the driver, spare tire, brake booster/cylinder, steering box, exhaust/intake all being located on the left side that has the higher rated front spring.

What side is the front differential on?

I know some Jeeps had the engine offset from center to make room for the front diff. and drive shaft.

The front axle pumpkin is offset to the drivers side which also contributes to RF heavier spring rate.

The engine is centered.
