I just wanted to know what, other than the supercharger itself, is needed to supercharge a regular 3800...thanx in advance

and could I swap out PCMs with a buddy ( both supercharged 3800 GM ) without doing any programing or anything of that nature??

Drop in an L67 with a 4T65-HD, harness, and PCM from a similar year series PCM and you're roughly there.

PCM's were different a lot from 97, 98-99, 2000+.

Do you have access to a tuner? I have a slew of PCM BIN files for 98+.

And the PCM would go from my 02 SSEi to my buddies 02 GTP....can that happen safely without a tuner? because I have no access to a tuner...

the reason behind doing this is because my car is getting taken from me, and I am just tryina help a friend out and making some use of the pcm i paid for...

No, a Bonneville tune is completely different from a GTP tune. From 02 SSEi to 00-02 SSEi would work, but that's about it.

True statement.

Torque management, shift points, MAF table, timing, etc etc...its a lot different. Not by much, but you add up all the small differences and it adds up.

You're near Intense, so maybe ask them what it would cost to flash a proper BIN file.
