Windshield crack

Dang! Got up this morning and discovered a crack in my windshield! I have a '05 SLE with 40k on it, never hit anything, no hail, nothing! It's a real weird crack. It starts from the lower right bottom and goes up to the center then left. what causes something like that? Is this under a GM warranty?

That's an insurance deal. GM doesn't cover accidentals under warranty, just parts that break that shouldn't have.

Thats weird my windshield has a crack in it that starts from the driver side bottom corner and works its way up, no sgn of a rock or anything hitting it just a crack.

Well, I do know that if there is rust building along the bead of a windshield on the inside, it can cause stress and a crack a windshield.

Make an Insurance claim (you do have glass coverage, right?) and get it fixed properly.
