Here is the KOA grounds layout.
I am aiming to be in spot 48 or 49, generally each year we try to all camp in the same area.

Good spot in the trees out on the edge of the campground, Vince. There's a row of trees along the fence to the right of that 41-48 row. I think Echo or Hans were in that site last year.

:o

I thought about making it a surprise and just popping out of someone's car, but then I figured it would probably be better to have lodging lined up.

I had the largest site on the back roll in 2006...but I can't remember if it was site 45 or 46

Oh I forgot to post this on the other site, so I'll do it now when I remember. I'll most likely be flying in. Gas is too expensive and I just don't have enough money to cover the extra expenses. I have some flyer mileage, so I'm going to use them. I still need to coax my employer to give me a week and a half off :P

Sadly, still a maybe though...

Let me know for sure if you need a ride. If nothing else I will let you use the old school for the week:

Thank you to everyone who's made such generous offers to help me with sleeping arrangements...rides from the airport...etc... Unfortunately, I'm not able to do these plans previously thought.... I won't be able to fly out to portland, then catch a ride down, then stay at Wren's and be his DD... why do you say?

Well.... something has changed in my life.... and because of it....

....I'm not only coming out, but I'm bringing me a MAN! We'll be getting a rental car and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Corvallis because the walls are bit thicker than the tent walls, :-# ...though not much. (Paul...do NOT get a room next to me! Across the hall would be fine... but not nextdoor. :-$ )

Just to make sure everyone knows, I do plan on going, but the only reason I'm not saying yes is because I have a new manager. The managers do the scheduling, and I'm not sure how she's going to like me taking 2 weeks off... I have all the money saved up and everything, it's just a matter of me making travel arrangements and meeting my new boss and talking to her about this. I'll know by next week, I promise :)

Now, out of curiousity, are the campspots hard to come by now? I haven't checked...

Depending on funds, I might need to stay in someone's tent, but it's looking like that's not needed right now...

If need be, I can bring my spare tent, airbed, and sleeping bag. Nothing fancy, but servicable and dry. Let me know if you are in need of them.

I'd love to try again this year! We desperately need a vacation away from here. So count me in! Where's lodging info?

No, seriously, we're coming. Talked to the wife, kid don't care, even if we have to sleep in the car!!
