First! ;)

1991 Toyota 4Runner SR5:
Dad and I recently scored this for free - one of his friends bought a new truck and didn't need this anymore. 3.0L V6, runs amazingly well. Currently off the road, but would need nothing to pass inspection and emissions. We're debating to either keep it or sell it for a healthy profit, pending my dad's employment situation (he's looking for work after being laid off). Gas cost = big issue.

1994 Volvo 850:
We scored this one for $900 in March. Also runs amazingly well, has passed emissions, is ready to go. The Civic is still running fine, so there's no rush to get this one the road. Relatively speaking the 2.4L inline-five cylinder engine packs some punch (168hp), handling is nice, it's smooth and quiet, and the interior is just about loaded up like an SSEi. My brother may end up driving this one.

1991 Honda Civic SE Hatch:
The one and only, which has graced a few Bonneville meets and somehow kept up during cruise portions. I've grown attached to the go-kartiness and handling of this little monster, and of course the gas mileage can't be beat - average 30.28mpg lifetime including two long cold winters. Living in a city of 2.5 million - 5 million if you include the outskirt areas I do my driving in - city mileage counts. Special features of the SE hatchback include body-coloured bumpers and door handles and a tachometer - but NO AC!

Jerry, you and I are gonna have to do a photo shoot down at the Docks (aka the sound acadamy :pow: )

Love the shots with the city skyline in the back, but there needs to be a bigger blacker car in the photo...

you can also teach me some SLR stuff

What are you guys doing Sunday morning-ish (the 25th)? That time of day almost guarantees the parking lot to be empty and free to get in (no attendant).

I swear I replied to this, must've closed the tab. but here it goes again:

There was some swiss cheese on the passenger's rear quarter and the tailgate, nothing a little bondo couldn't fix. It now looks better than 95% of the salt-encrusted, rotting older 4Runners in Toronto. Mechanically, it's cherry, with 230,000km (143k) on the odo.

Looks like it'd be nice for wheeling.

complete with the front brush guard!

this 4Runner has never been off road in its life, either. Always babied. Synthetic, serviced at the dealer, I could go on :)
