Sucks Ryan, and Greg. Lol.

I discovered belt slip at high rpms today. Might try the shorter belt I have and see if that helps, either way I'm planning to get a racing grade belt for the blower.

Sucks Greg. Mine's starting great!

Here comes the snow again, snowing on my head...

At this rate spring will come around... Say... June.

And to think I was foolish enough about thinking the other day of putting insurance back on the Caddy and taking it out once the 2ft of crap we have now, is all gone...

Yep, snow's coming here tomorrow...

Update: just bought myself a $165 battery. At least I got to spend an hour in the sun.

Yea, rub it in.

NBC 5 Chicago last night had one model projecting 16.4" at O'Hare by 7pm tomorrow. And then during the newscast, he (Brant Miller), came back and revised that model UPWORD even more!

Granted that is the worst case scenario, I abruptly lost it... It's friggin March already! ENOUGH! I am so mothersmurfing tired of snow and having to remove it. Every other gawd d a m n day!

I'm with Lane. So tired of this stuff. It's freaking 70* here right now, and will be 25* by Thursday. Boo.

If it was 70, and stayed that way everyday. I'd have stuff to update on this thread everyday. I have too many parts piling up, and no good weather to install them.

Will, try a bigger tensioner pulley, I got a 3 1/2 inch one and it got rid of the belt slip I had with the 3.4 pulley.

Pretty sure it has a larger tensioner pulley. I shouldn't be able to run a 3.5 or even the 3.4 that was on there with a stock size belt. It's just a matter of *shoot* belts. Same reason the GXP has belt slip and chirping.

I aired out my garage yesterday and today, started cleaning up and re-organizing. Want to be ready to start working as soon as it's warm enough.

45 degree weather was nice!

Unbelievable amount of traffic today (it's raining, so I'm not surprised, people seem to love to hop in their car and drive aimlessly in bad weather, and most of these people can't drive when it's nice out), and opposite traffic forced me over (the road from my house is not very wide, and parking makes it difficult for two lane traffic), and I clipped the mirror of a parked car. Luckily, no damage to either.

My car and I also witnessed a semi slide out of control and a Taurus that spun out into the median and got stuck in the mud. She was spinning her tires so much, that she was causing something to smoke (face it, if your crappy tires let you spin out in the first place on asphalt, then they definitely aren't going to get you out of mud).

And, I found out I have a new door leak in the Bonneville.

Awful morning. All my car's openings were frozen shut. Luckily I don't care and kicked my driver's door until it opened. Neighbors watching and all. LOL

That's like hitting the TV until it works again!

I'm sure I'll have the same problem tomorrow after all this rain freezes overnight.

Just get door handles from the 80's and you will have no problem getting into your car. You could use those things as a winch point.

Replaced the Alternator and Supercharger belts today with Goodyear Gatorbacks.
Replaced the oil pressure sending unit. Had to make sure that it was good. Not a good sign when the gauge shows a little less than straight up.
That is for my Goose. She's got low blood pressure that does not rise with vigourous wing flapping and will drop to one notch below halfway during hot idle.

Almost pulled a Carl with my car door today. It was frozen shut. Didn't want to kick mine though, so I got it open using a lot of pulling and sticking my fingers into the edges for leverage. Very painful.
