And to answer more of your questions, I will be there Saturday and Sunday, coming down there with Juan. Sunday morning I have church though so my arrival then would be more likely around noon.

Just getting around to checking out some driving info for getting there and back and it leaves me with some bad news.

Heather and I will not make it this time. It is a 10 hour drive from Newfane New York (where we will be) to Chicago, then another five hours home. Just too much driving in one day if we include any visiting. We thought we would make it Saturday, but with all the stuff going on in New York that week we will be leaving Sunday instead.

Maybe the next one I will make, hard to say, but 10 hours of driving for a visit for a day is much easier to do then 15 hours of driving for a visit.

Since it's not too bad of a drive for me either, I don't need a room!

Would you guys want a hotel? Otherwise maybe a run back and forth may be best, it's not really too far for either of you. Saves money that way. Decide by Saturday so I can reserve the room if need be.

I'll likely have the early birds Saturday show up at the condo, then on Sunday at my grams.

Since I can only have one person actually stay in the condo, that space is being held for my friend with the Bimmer. However, since Lucas is stubborn we will have the extra garage you can park in and if you don't mind sleeping in the *shoot* star, you're welcome to. Ryan and the 240 guys will have to either pick up a hotel on their own or run back and forth to Schaumburg. I don't have the money, nor the justification to reserve a hotel room at this time.

Can't wait! This should be a fun meet, looks like we'll have a good turnout, with a variety of cars!

I've never been to a meet before and I was thinking about attending but wanted to know what all goes on at a meet???

Well, if any cars need work, that gets done usually, but mostly it's to meet each other and get to see the (in)famous cars from the forums. It basically ends up being like a bunch of crazy people hangin out, cruisin around, taking pictures etc. Fun happens...lol Plus some trips to good restaurants in the area. Of which there are tons. O.P. has nothing but malls, gas stations, golf courses, and banks. Palos has a lot of forest preserves along with the already mentioned.

Looks like we are going to have a beautiful sunny weekend for our meet, about 40* or so, better than snow and negative temps any day!
