Yeah I had all the money saved for my last 95 to get painted.. I shaved everything on it, it had poppers and 5 series lights. Took a turn too quick when it was wet and hit a pole.

Nah no worries. I'm being really anal about this already and that would probably bother me a bit down the road if I didn't do it.

So I got my car painted while I was on travel the past few weeks. I had them repair my wheel well rust, fix some door dings and fill the antenna and trunk holes. I decided to us a Lexus paint code called black onyx. It's got a couple blacks in there and a little bit of yellow which makes it pop in the sun. This gave the effect I wanted the most.. Just a non metalic pop in bright light.

The car had a mean rake right now since the trunk is bare and there's no back seat. And I still have to align the bumper on the passenger side.

I go back to the shop friday to pick up my spoiler, 96-99 side skirts I decided to have them repair, 2 door moldings, the trim on the top of the doors that seal the bottom of the window, and the moldings that go under the beemer lights.

I have the bumper molding for the rear center but I'm waiting on the rest of them. Hopefully Saturday is the day it'll all come together.

I got the spoiler on yesterday and started putting my moldings on before I realized I broke about half of the clips that are on the moldings.. So today I consolidated the clips I had, put the passenger side moldings on, the light trim pieces, aligned the p/s front bumper, got both nuts on the mirrors, and put the door panels back on.

I'm hoping to get the rest finished by next weekend.
