In this case, you wrecked it and if you ever want to drive it again, you WILL be out there helping me every time I am working on it.

Matt, the fender was not fully installed yet when I took that picture. I just had a couple bolts holding it on so I could coax the hood to release a little frustration and try to bend back where it started.

Now that the fender is fully installed, there is a little gap yet that I am thinking is from the bent hood. The only parts left to put on is the wheel linings and the front bumper. After that it is off to the DEQ and licensing office to get all the paperwork done.

A used hood and bumper will be acquired on a later date.

Well, Gravenge is officially back on the road. Got home yesterday and finished putting her back together today. Passed DEQ and a new trip permit. All that is left to do is to put some white paint on the fender and get the title transfer done and get Oregon plates on it.

It's not perfect, but it will get her around safely. I will get more pictures up later. The hood still has wrinkles in it and the bumper cover is torn where the truck's bumper went over it. She still runs good and will for a long time.

Closer pictures of the repair. We have decided not to look for a bumper cover and hood for now. She is just glad to be driving it again. Next I have to wait until it gets dark to adjust the headlight aim.

Well, just an update, Gravenge now has all the panels matching the color white. I finally got the fender painted.

A couple days ago she set another milestone. She hit 200k miles on the original motor and 1 transmission rebuild. Looks like she will live on for many more miles. She still has a torn bumper cover and a wrinkled hood, but running good yet. The only issue to investigate yet is the lamp monitor is always saying they are out.

Check the license plate lights. That sets off the tail lamp monitor too.

Really glad the parts are available there. Almost all the old Bonnevilles in the JYs here have been crushed. Gravenge is looking good! - BC
