No, you'll need the mounting bracket from a 92-93 Series I with the Delco setup.

S2 = Series II; 96-03 Supercharged, 95-03 N/A.

It could be. The problem with the old OBD I setup is that the codes are extremely vague.

Are there any ways to identify the brackets visually?

I have coil packs from a 2004 Impala 3.8 that I got for free from my cousin that has MSD stuff in its place.

so the only bracket I can use is from a 1992 to 1993 only?

Is there a parts ID list somewhere with pictures so I know what I'm dealing with?
I'll look into finding a supercharged S2 at the yard.. but at this point, I'll take whatever gets me rolling sooner..
thanks again..

So from what I've found from an old thread from JRS3800,
If I luck out and find a 1993 -1995 GM 3.8 with the VIN: L that I can just take and use everything and let it ride?

WOW!!!!!! your spark plug wire guides/holders are still intact! I think that is quite a feat! Mine bit the dust long ago. The dealer really did a number on them at 30K and 50K miles. Congratulations on being able to keep yours! - no easy feat. - BC
